This chat is about the destruction, on 6 June 2023, of the Kakhovka Dam in Ukraine which was blown up or was breached, causing extensive flooding. Located on the Dnieper in Kherson Oblast, the dam was under the control of the Russian military, which had seized it in the early days of the Russian invasion of Ukraine.
